Vici consultants worked on a project with a leading international provider of specialist personnel solutions to the aviation, engineering, technology and telecoms sectors. The project's objective was to enable them to derive competitive advantage by making their internal data available to their clients and place contractors online. The delivered functionality included: Employer request process: Employers can now request resources online - these requests are automatically populated into the operational database. They can also review progress against their request online - viewing CVs / application forms and rejecting / accepting proposed candidates. This greatly reduced the time and cost associated with servicing such requests in a worldwide market. Contractor / candidate profile management: Contractors / candidates can update their profiles online - this ensures that the client always receives up-to-date information and moved the responsibility for maintaining this data from the client to their contractors and candidates. Financial processes: Contractors are able to submit their timesheets and expense requests online. The technical design and implementation of this functionality directly supported a new business process where the client authorised timesheets and expenses online. Web based integration allowed us to populate this data into the operational database and also integrate with a newly implemented financial system. This also enabled all invoicing to be visible online. Website: A new 'public' website was delivered which amalgamated several disparate web sites into one central offering. All web-based functionality could be accessed from here. Again, this functionality allowed the client to accept suitable candidates and employers from the internet into their internal systems very easily. The project delivered on it's core objective of increasing competitive advantage. This is evident through the increased loyalty of contractors, cycle time reduction in fulfilling an employers request for resources and increased market share. |
